Two Katyusha rockets reportedly fired at Eilat from Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula landed in Jordan.

One of the rockets fired early Thursday morning scored a direct hit on an air-conditioning storage building in the Red Sea port of Aqaba, according to reports. The second fell into the Red Sea, Israel’s Channel 10 reported.

Some reports said the rockets were fired from Jordan.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Egyptian defense sources have denied that the rockets were fired from Sinai toward Eilat, according to Egyptian media reports.

Eilat was last struck by a terrorist attack in January 2007, when a suicide bomber killed three people.

Earlier this month, Israelis were ordered to leave the Sinai over intelligence information that terrorists planned to abduct an Israeli tourist into Gaza.
