There’s a report that the Obama administration knew of the attack 48 hours before it happened. Obama cannot blame this 
“According to senior diplomatic sources within he Obama administration, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and ‘lockdown,’ under which movement is severely restricted.”
When the stories of the embassy attacks first hit the news, we were told that it was about some obscure anti-Muhammad video. Now we’re learning that the attacks were planned well in advance and were coordinated. It’s not coincidental that the attacks took place on 9/11. Were the attacks in retaliation of killing Osama bin Laden? Taking out the mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attack was always ripe for retaliation.
Now it is obvious to many that the “protesters” that burned down our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and killed our envoy along with Ambassador, J. Christopher Stevens, and three others, was not a really a protest at all. It was an orchestrated assault by Isalmic terrorists.
The assassination of Ambassador Stevens is a wake-up call to the U.S. The Arab Spring is being hijacked by al Qaeda and fundamentalist Muslims. Qaddafi himself claimed that the rebellion was Al Qaeda and/or other Jihdists that opposed his secular dictatorship. The Western liberal media outlets largely dismissed his claims. For whatever reason, the Obama Administration and NATO decided that regime change in Libya was worth the price of arming and energizing Al Qaeda as well as other Islamic fundamentalist groups.
It gets even worse, the Marines called by Obama to supposedly to defend an already burned out American Embassy in Egypt will be nothing more than window dressing.
“U.S. Marines defending the American embassy in Egypt were not permitted by the State Department to carry live ammunition, limiting their ability to respond to attacks like those this week on the U.S. consulate in Cairo.
The Ambassador to Egypt Anne Patterson ‘did not permit U.S. Marine guards to carry live ammunition,’ according to multiple reports on U.S. Marine Corps blogs spotted by Nightwatch. ‘She neutralized any U.S. military capability that was dedicated to preserve her life and protect the US Embassy.
Ambassador Patterson “did not defend U.S. sovereign territory and betrayed her oath of office,” a Nightwatch report states. “She neutered the Marines posted to defend the embassy, trusting the Egyptians over the Marines.”
