Halfway through, they should have stopped the fight. Gov. Mitt Romney eviscerated a staggering and bewildered President Barack Obama tonight in one of the most lopsided presidential debates in American history.
Throughout the debate, which focused on domestic policy, Obama looked visibly shaken, rarely looking at the camera and odd uncomfortable facial gestures, reciting old talking points and filibustering as Romney gave a master class at the University of Denver. We don’t know if it was the plan, but the Romney camp set low expectations and he took it home and hit a grand slam!
Expect the liberal media to try to spin this into Romney being a bully, or any spin to make Romney look bad. Bill Maher a well known liberal is already joking how badly Obama needed a his teleprompter tonight.
According to Politico, in the critical swing states, Romney now has the edge by 4 points.

An instant poll showed that Mitt Romney was the clear winner in his first debate with Barack H. Obama
An instant poll after the first debate between Mitt Romney and Barack H. Obama showed that Americans felt the Republican challenger squarely beat the President in a discussion of the nation’s economy.
From what I’m reading from Chris Matthews and others on the left, Obama had is ass handed to him.
Even CNN said 67% of their viewers said Romney won the debate, 25% for Obama, and 8% undecided.
Michael Moore is quoted as saying, “This is what happens when you pick John Kerry as your debate coach.”
The list of those that are from the left that are strongly criticizing Obama for his horrible performance include Bill Maher, Andrew Sullivan, and the editorial director of the Huffington Post.
