What are we to make of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s trip to Cuba? And can we really expect a better U.S.–Venezuela relationship now that Hugo Chavez is out of the picture?

Wonder no more because we’ve got some answers in this month’s installment of the Heritage Libertad podcast. Joining us is The Heritage Foundation’s Latin American expert Ray Walser, PhD, to discuss the current situation in Venezuela and what it would take to undergo a transition to democracy and economic prosperity.

In addition, we will discuss the tense situation in North Korea and ask some tough questions, including why the Obama Administration continues to claim that our homeland is secure from potential threats while gutting spending for our national defense—as evidenced in his recent budget proposal.

Don’t miss out on this podcast and remember that The Heritage Foundation is working hard through our Heritage Libertad initiative to ensure that the fastest growing demographic—Hispanics—are exposed to conservative policy and research in order to preserve and protect the freedom and liberties that all of us hold so dear.
