The powder was discovered around 8:05 p.m. inside the mailroom.

Firefighters  are responding to reports of suspicious white powder inside Trump Tower, near Donald Trump’s campaign offices, law enforcement sources say.

The Hazmat units were on the scene along with FDNY and NYPD.

Six people were being evaluated after being exposed to the powder, the sources said. It was found on the fifth floor of Trump Tower at 725 Fifth Ave. in midtown at about 8 p.m.

Authorities are working to determine if the powder is harmful.

It’s not clear who found the powder or how it was packaged.

Trump was campaigning Orange County in California and not inside Trump Tower at the time he will be live in Costa Mesa at 7:PM PST. A message left with his campaign team has not been returned.

In March, Trump’s 32-year-old son Eric Trump was sent an envelope containing a suspicious powder and threatening note. The powder was deemed non-toxic but the note threatened the younger Trump that a subsequent envelope would contain hazardous materials if Donald Trump didn’t drop out of the presidential race.
