House Republicans on Thursday unveiled their plan to update the nation’s tax code.
Tax reform should simplify the current tax code, lower tax rates on individuals and businesses, and update the business tax system to make the U.S. competitive again and remove barriers to investment and job creation. A plan that does that has the potential to unleash higher wages, create more jobs, and spread untold opportunity through a larger and more dynamic economy.
