Must-See Moments: Kim Kardashian Partners With White House on Prison Reform

The Daily Signal’s Facebook Live show “Top 10” features the top news stories of the week—many of which went misreported by the mainstream media and some weren’t reported at all.

Kim Kardashian West is working with Jared Kushner and the White House on prison reform. Alice Johnson has served 21 years behind bars for a nonviolent first offense and Kardashian West is partnering closely with Kushner to facilitate her release.

“I’ve been in communication with the White House and trying to bring her case to the president’s desk and figure out how we can get her out,” Kardashian West says.

“So far the White House has been really receptive to my calls, and I’m grateful for that. And I’m not going to stop that because people personally don’t like Trump.”

First lady Melania Trump announced her formal initiative “Be Best” earlier this week. Afterward, many in the mainstream media quickly criticized Trump.

The first lady tweeted, “Thank you to all who attended yesterday’s launch of . I will continue focusing on ways to help children be their best selves. Please visit to learn more!”
