Honoring Ronald Reagan on His 100th Birthday

One hundred years ago today, in a small Illinois town, Ronald Wilson Reagan was born.

From Illinois, he went to Hollywood to become an actor. From Hollywood, he went to Sacramento to become governor of California. And from Sacramento, he went to Washington to become President of the United States of America.

Ronald Reagan led an exemplary life. He was a good man, a great President, a champion of freedom.

Conservative ideas are winning ideas. And few individuals in the last century demonstrated this better than Ronald Reagan did. He recognized that America’s enduring principles cannot change and will not change because they are rooted in permanent truths.
