Ever since Barack Hussein Obama gave his speech to the Muslim world and essentially flung Israel under the bus, I have read countless analysis of his speech. His every word, right down to the commas, have been deconstructed with a passion usually reserved for the study of Talmud.
My brother-in-law, David, a rabbi and businessman who lives in Efrat, Israel, delivered the most astute analysis–via Celia, my mother-in-law–when he observed:
“It doesn’t matter what Obama says.”
David is saying, and I hope he’ll forgive me if I’m putting words in his mouth, that Obama has no grasp of reality when it comes to Israel, the Middle East, and the Muslim world.
Fact: the ’67 boundaries Obama refers to were never national boundaries. They were armistice lines that indicated where five Arab armies were halted by one Jewish army, thus saving these Arab Muslims from total humiliation and surrender. The UN has a habit of rescuing Arab armies after they start a war, but are beaten like drums on the battlefield by the hated Jews.
Fact: the Golan Heights is Israel’s Little Round Top. The high ground that cannot and will not be surrendered to the enemy until lollipops and unicorns rain from the Middle Eastern sky. In short, never.
Fact: Judea and Samaria AKA The West Bank, are part and parcel of Israel, the Jewish homeland.
Fact: There was never an Arab Muslim Palestinian nation or people in all of world history. Before the modern state of Israel was born, the Jews were called Palestinians and the Arabs called themselves, um, Arabs.
Fact: A divided Jerusalem is a death sentence for Israel. Jews and Christians would be forbidden access to holy sites. When Jordan occupied the Old City, the Western Wall was, literally, a garbage dump.
Fact: Gaza is Judenrein, occupied by Hamas, a satellite of Iran.
Fact: Lebanon is now controlled by Hizbullah, also Iran’s proxy.
Fact: Egypt brokered the deal between Hamas and the PA. The Muslim Brotherhood is poised to ascend to power in Egypt. The so-called Arab Spring is, in truth, an eruption of Islamist totalitarianism. Just ask Lara Logan.
Fact: Hamas and the PA have bypassed the so-called peace plan and entered into partnership. Hamas is an openly genocidal organization whose charter calls for the destruction of Israel and the extermination of every Jew on the face of the earth. The Hamas Charter also blames an international Jewish conspiracy for The French Revolution, World War I, World War II, the Rotary Clubs and the Free Masons. Not surprisingly, the Hamas Charter endorses the notorious Tzarist forgery, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
No one in his right mind would negotiate with such primitive creatures.
And no one in his right mind would hand such a people an independent state.
David’s observation that Obama’s speech is largely irrelevant is correct because David and most sane Israelis understand that the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians are born in hate and schooled in a theological genocidal ideology.
The most important speaker at AIPAC was not Barack Hussein Obama, who essentially parsed his words so that Democrat Jewish money would continue to flow into his campaign.
No, the most important speaker, so far, was Eric Cantor:
“In order for us to win this great struggle, we must have the courage to see the world not as we wish it to be, but as it truly is. It is not morally equivalent when the offenses of terrorists are equated with the defenses of Israel.
“The following story illustrates Israel’s dilemma.
“A Palestinian woman from Gaza arrives at Soroka Hospital in Beersheba for lifesaving skin treatment for burns over half her body. After the conclusion of her extensive treatment, the woman is invited back for follow-up visits to the outpatient clinic. One day she is caught at the border crossing wearing a suicide belt. Her intention? To blow herself up at the same clinic that saved her life.
“This is the root of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. It is not about the ’67 lines.”
Cantor received the longest standing ovation of the day.

This is a portrait of a people so barbaric, so morally corrupt it inspires disbelief. Wafa Samir is not an exception to the rule of her society but totally representative. Because such frenzied homicidal behavior is the foundation of the so-called Palestinian entity.
Those who support such a people betray not just Israel and Jews but Western civilization.
P.S. The charge was detonated by IDF sappers. Wafa Samir is now in an Israeli jail. Her family receives monthly salary checks from the PA. That’s Islamist ideology fused with progressive economics.
