Early this year when Trump was leading us to speculate he may run for president, the one thing is said Obama was successful at was his election campaign. Not many can deny Obama and his administration know how to sell the voters on why they should elect him for president, he is the smoothest talking right out of the best used car lot.
If only Obama could run the country as effectively as he runs his election campaigns, we as a country would be in much better shape. Unfortunate for the United States his success skills end at the voting booth, and complete failure follows his near Marxist ideology.
Obama knows what he needs to say, and he will say anything and everything to get re-elected. But let’s not forget the promises in 2008 of ending the war in Iraq, which have been proven to be nothing short of a broken promise. We can add promises to close Guantanamo, another to the long list of broken promises from President Obama.
When Obama campaigned for the Democratic presidential nomination in Manchester, N.H., on June 22, 2007, he announced his “Sunlight Before Signing” promise, remember that?
“When there is a bill that ends up on my desk as the president, you the public will have five days to look online and find out what’s in it before I sign it,” Obama said. Obama a Harvard educated individual, he is brilliant and knows what people want to hear for his campaign, lets not forget he rarely implements any of his promises as he did not allow the US citizens to review bills online 5 days, never happened.
This week a sign that Obama is again in full campaign mode has never more clear than his new sales attempt in trying go alight himself with the average frustrated American. A bold attempt to portray as if he is one of the average Joe American citizen also frustrated with Washington DC and it antics.
Obama, in an attempt to aligning himself with a public fed up with economic uncertainty and Washington gridlock and corruption, President Barack Obama said Thursday: “There is nothing wrong with our country. There is something wrong with our politics.” . Yes, yet another sales pitch, although a very true statement. Obama is trying to separate himself from Washington and starts criticizing it vaguely, as if he was not the President in charge of Washington for the past years.
Obama again aired his claimed frustration with the ways of Washington at an event in Michigan before pivoting to his re-election campaign and a pair of big-money fundraisers in New York City.
He then later delivered even yet another condensed version of that message at a fundraiser at the lower Manhattan home of movie producer Harvey Weinstein, where celebrities Gwyneth Paltrow and Jimmy Fallon, were among the approximately 50 guests who paid $35,800 each to attend.
Obama said he told his audience that it deserves better than what it’s been getting from Washington.
“They look at what’s happening in Washington and they think these folks are really from outer space because they don’t seem to understand how critical it is for us all to work together, Republicans, Democrats, independents, in order to move this country forward,” Obama said, further trying to distance himself from Washington, Democrats and Republicans.
Obama added that the country is realizing the need to get involved.
“We’re going to have to get engaged and we’re going to have to speak out,” Obama said. “We’re going to have to register the fact that we expect more and we expect better.”
Obama in a desperate attempt to alight himself with the average frustrated fed up American, will this pitch fly this time around, will Americans buy into this sales pitch for re-election after the broken promises?
Barak Hussein Obama needs only to look in the mirror. Mr. President, you claim to know where the problem lies! Quit the blame game and accept the fact that you are the leader of this great Nation, the buck stops at your desk, not the Republicans, not the Tea Party and certainly not George W. Bush desk in some distant Texas ranch, man up and take some responsibility Mr. President.
