Majority of Muslim-Americans Support Obama; Nine out of Ten Muslims Voted for Obama in 2008

In honor of the 10^th anniversary of the 9/11 Islamist attacks on New York City and the Pentagon that killed 2,819 innocents, the Pew Research Center recently conducted a survey of Muslim Americans to see how that particular community’s thoughts and attitudes had changed since the last survey in 2007.

And the political sentiments of Muslim Americans tend to be moving in a different direction than most other Americans.

For example:

– Four out of five Muslim Americans surveyed were satisfied with the way things are going in their lives ever since Obama took office a sharp contrast to many non-Muslim Americans.

– Seven out of ten Muslim Americans view Barack Obama’s presidential record favorably.

The most frightening statistic of all however is the lack of change in Muslim American attitudes toward terror attacks and Al Qaeda.

Of the 1,000 Muslim-Americans surveyed, 1% believe suicide bombings and other violence in the name of Islam was often justified and 5% had a favorable view of Al Qaeda.

A little over 1,000 Muslim-Americans participated in the survey meaning at least 10 of those individuals supported acts of terror in the name of jihad and 50 did not see a problem with Al Qaeda.

We have no idea who they are or where they are in our country – just that they are here.

There is an estimated 1.8 million Muslim adults in the United States, including U.S.-born converts, a 300,000 increase since 2007.

If the same statistics are applied to the entire Muslim-American population in the United States,roughly 18,000 Muslim-Americans support terrorism against innocent civilians in the name of defending Islam AND 90,000 Al Qaeda supporters are right here in the United States – maybe in your neighborhood, maybe in mine!

Worst still, Barack Hussein Obama is walking around touting the death of Osama bin Laden as a feather in his cap while failing to secure our country against the continuing threat of Islamist extremism and instead pandering for votes from the Muslim-American communities around the nation with his lax policy and apologies.

Against the advice of top military officials and intelligence experts, Obama has ordered the early withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan. He has done so WITHOUT letting the American people know what measures Washington will take to sort out likely terrorists from within our own borders let alone those from overseas cunning enough to slip through our lax visa system.

And let’s not forget our WIDE OPEN border with Mexico that Obama has yet to secure.

In the last year alone, 59,000 illegal immigrants detained at the Southern border came from countries other than Mexico.  Among them were countries like Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, and four other so-called “state-sponsors of terrorism” –Cuba, Iran, Syria, and Sudan. We can only guess how many others have slipped across the border without us being any wiser.

With our nation on the verge of a double-dip recession and more than a year left with Obama in charge, we MUST take action to defeat Obama in the 2012 Presidential Elections.

We’re less than two weeks shy of the 10^th anniversary of 9/11 and we still have persons living in the United States that support terrorism and the very group that killed nearly 3,000 innocents men, women and children in the name of Islam.

Nine out of ten Muslim Americans voted for Barack Hussein Obama in 2008. This community will continue to fight for their commander-in-chief who turns a blind-eye to the America-hating extremists among them for the sake of maintaining popularity and winning elections.

We were warned of Obama’s affinity with Muslim extremists given his early upbringing in Indonesia and now we’re warned of just how loyal that community is to Obama regardless of his destruction of America’s economy and our very way of life. We MUST force Congress to act NOW – before the terrorists already here decide to ACT.
