New evidence, published over the past 24 hours by the McClatchy News Service and Britain’s Daily Telegraph, once again confirms that President Obama is shamelessly in bed with al-Qaeda terrorists in the drive to overthrow the Assad government in Syria. Just yesterday, speaking at National Defense University, President Obama reiterated his demand for regime change and issued a lying claim that Syria is considering launching chemical weapons attacks against neighbor Turkey.
Obama is not even making a pretense of going to the United Nations Security Council or the U.S. Congress before taking military action. Yesterday, he also confirmed that the United States would be willing to send Patriot III missile batteries to southern Turkey as part of the direct planned NATO intervention.
As Lyndon LaRouche has warned repeatedly, such actions against Syria are really directed against Russia and China, and can lead to thermonuclear world war and extinction.
But the real immediate scandal is that President Obama is openly colluding with al-Qaeda networks in the murderous campaign to unseat the Assad government. McClatchy revealed yesterday that the only effective fighting force among the Syrian rebels is the al-Qaeda-linked group Jabhat al-Nusra. It is Jabhat al-Nusra and other neo-Salafists who are conducting the suicide bombings and the major ground assaults, particularly in northern Syria. These groups are operating on an identical profile to the al-Qaeda in Iraq apparatus that waged an asymmetric war against both the U.S. occupying forces and the Sunni tribes of Iraq for years. They continue to conduct blind terrorism against the Shi’ite population of Iraq. Many of those networks have infiltrated into Syria and are part of the Jihadist core of the anti-Assad fighting forces.
Russian President Putin, during his brief visit to Ankara, Turkey on Monday made the identical point. He warned against a replay of Libya in Syria, and noted that the U.S. and NATO overthrew Qadaffi and installed al-Qaeda in power. Less than a year later, the al-Qaeda networks assassinated the U.S. ambassador and three other American diplomats. Putin warned against a replay of the Libya disaster in Syria.
But Obama is unabashed. He runs around claiming that he killed Osama bin Laden and defeated al-Qaeda when, in fact, he has joined forces with al-Qaeda in country after country—always with the same disastrous consequences for the targetted countries, as well as for the United States.
If there was ever reason to now move Heaven and Earth to get Obama out of office immediately, his open alliance with the worst of the jihadist killers—the killers of Ambassador Chris Stevens and the others, and the killers of the original 9/11 attack—is as good as it gets. Obama’s collusion with al-Qaeda should come as no surprise to anyone who knows his British Crown pedigree and the long history of the Anglo-Saudi hand behind all world terrorism.
The neo-Salafist terrorists leading the suicide bombings, the massacres and other atrocities to get rid of Assad are being financed through Saudi Arabia, specifically through the new head of Saudi intelligence, former Ambassador to the United States Prince Bandar bin Sultan, the funder of the original 9/11 terrorists.
