On about 12-21-12 this Winter solstice marks the end of a 26,000 yr cycle called precession. On this date, we cross the galactic divide. Precession is caused by the earth wobbling very slowly on its axis and shifts the position of the equinoxes and solstices one degree every 71.5 years. Because the sun is one-half of a degree wide, it will take the December solstice sun 36 years to precess through the Galactic equator.
On 21st December 2012 mercury, Venus and Saturn lie roughly along a line, the rising sun is also lining up with our milky way center. Some say the sun could be blocked for 3 days bringing darkness during that time, and temperatures will plummet then the sun will return. The Mayan elder does mention this as well, although he says soon but they don’t know the specific time. After the 3 days of darkness the sun does return.
The sun may be entering a period of reduced activity that could result in lower temperatures on Earth. Also known as a Maunder Minimum or Age of Aquarius. When people like Al Gore blow off the importance of the Sun as it relates to our global warming and cooling, they simply are looking at things through an historical lens and probably don’t know what they’re talking about.
The Maunder minimum as an example, is the name given to a period of extreme solar inactivity that occurred between 1645 and 1710. Of particular interest is that this period of inactivity corresponds closely to one of the coldest periods of the so-called “Little Ice Age” in Europe, a time of long, cold winters that caused severe hardships in the pre-industrial revolution world. This 65 year period of COLD was a result of the sun, not the lack of pollutants in the air.
Nature’s well kept secret beneath the Arctic ice has now been exposed: volcanic ash. Yes, during the little ice age, it appears 4 very active volcanoes spewed out ash for a considerably long time. If correct, this would indeed tell a story on the severity of the climate during a Maunder Minimum.
First off, when ice ages comes along, first temps increase more than normal, this is the first sign. Then suddenly the temps start to reverse and drop. The Russians are already well prepared for this coming Ice Age with their nuclear BREST reactors to provide all of our power and heating needs.
Habibullo Abdussamatov, the head of space research at St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in Russia is predicting an oncoming Ice age, so so scientist in France and in Croatia. Professor Paar, from Croatia’s Zagreb University also predict a coming ice age.
We could see in the South such a Texas the summers are hot, the temps could soon go from hot to cool. Temperatures will be in the 40s and uppers 30s across the Midwest, northeast and Ohio valley as well as highs in the upper 50s and 60s. Dec 21, 2012 or sometime near that. the date is not the end of the world, it means the Earth is approaching another Ice Age.
