Bennett: Netanyahu wants a Leftist Coalition

Bayit Yehudi chairman Naftali Bennett said Monday that Binyamin Netanyahu intends to establish a left-leaning government after the elections.

Speaking at the 10th Jerusalem Conference, Bennett said, “The Prime Minister’s plan is to establish a left-wing government as he did in the last elections. The public elected a nationalist government and received Ehud Barak.”

“Tzipi Livni is unwilling to commit that she will not sit in Netanyahu’s government,” he added.

Bennett rejected the claims that he is hiding the true nature of his Knesset list from the general public. “A lot of people have been saying, in recent days, ‘you have a list and you are hiding it.’ I am not hiding anyone. I am proud of a list that is the most Zionist, the most values-oriented, the youngest and the most variegated.”

Likud has been attacking the Bayit Yehudi over the fact that it is supposedly anti-women, noting an exclusive Arutz Sheva interview with Bayit Yehudi’s Number 4 man, Rabbi Eliyahu Ben-Dahan, in which he supported a return to family values.
