And we’re certain that despite the FACTS and the HARD EVIDENCE to the contrary, she will be claiming that the border is “more secure than ever” in order to keep the Democrats in line and sway over career-coddling RINOs and media-minded Old Bull Elephants!
Barack Hussein Obama couldn’t be happier… because unless WE THE PEOPLE take action right now, he will get exactly what he wants.
We have ONLY DAYS to make our voices heard on Capitol Hill.
WE MUST USE THEM!
But that doesn’t mean Rubio isn’t pinning his presidential hopes on appearing the grand compromiser! That’s why during his Sunday media blitz, he hyped up the Gang of Eight plan as “not amnesty”…
WELL, WE AREN’T BUYING IT!
Whether it is or is not technically AMNESTY in the bill – it is certainly AMNESTY in effect – LEGALIZATION WITHOUT DEPORTATION; LEGALIZATION WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES IS AMNESTY! Making matters worse, it will vastly increase the number of alien entrants, throwing the flood gates wide open to MORE foreign workers in competition with Americans who are OUT OF WORK!
IS THIS GANG OF EIGHT AMNESTY PLAN REALLY GOING TO BE “SOLD” TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE LIKE OBAMACARE?
With “comprehensive immigration reform” every bit as much an Obama priority as new anti-gun laws, Congress MUST HEAR FROM YOU TODAY – NO AMNESTY, SECURE BORDERS AND THE RULE OF LAW NOW!
Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) – one of the four GOP members of the “Gang of Eight” predicted that there will be a “great deal of unhappiness” about what he and his cohorts are rolling out for the American people when he appeared with Sen. Chucky Schumer (D-NY) on CBS’ “Face the Nation” last Sunday.
National Review yesterday offered some previews of the nonsense on enforcement that is contained in the Gang’s bill…
Here is just one example:
“Anyone who is no longer able to be self-sufficient and needs federal assistance would lose legal status and be eligible for deportation.” Like who? The unemployed or disabled legalized immigrants America just legalized?
This is disgusting and dishonest. Once the government grants illegal immigrants “a path to citizenship, none of them will ever be deported and all of them will eventually become eligible for the full range of federal and state welfare programs. It will be a crippling drain on government budgets – as Sen. Sessions pointed out.
“What has been talked about in the Gang of Eight proposal is 100 percent consistent with what the president is doing so we feel very good about it,” Pfeiffer said. “And they are looking at it in the right way.” In other words – AMNESTY.
And Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is all aboard saying, “The politics of self-deportation are behind us,” calling that notion “offensive” and crowing that every corner of the GOP “is now understanding there has to be an earned pathway to citizenship.” Oh, but what about the deportation of the disadvantaged?
WE’RE NOT BUYING IT!
The National ICE Council representing 7,000 immigration enforcement officers and employees – which has been LEFT OUT OF CAPITOL HILL NEGOTIATIONS – has since voiced its opposition to the Senate Gang’s proposal, rightly saying it “prioritizes amnesty” over enforcement! ICE union director Chris Crane warned that the plan does NOTHING to enhance interior enforcement while handing out free passes to the millions of illegal immigrants already here – thus setting the stage for waves of new illegal entrants and another round of amnesty 10 to 20 years down the road.
Crane is urging US not to support ANY legislation put forth by the president or Congress until the picking and choosing of which laws are enforced is STOPPED and the border is SECURED!
We must ACT NOW to reinforce conservative resistance to amnesty and demand SECURE BORDERS before ANY “comprehensive immigration reform” is politically engaged!
According to internal reports, sophisticated airborne radar developed to track Taliban fighters overseas is being used along our southern border to detect illegal border-jumpers – and the numbers are condemning… evidence from a mere 150 square-mile stretch of the Sonora Desert in southern Arizona reveals that Border Patrol agents apprehended LESS THAN HALF of the illegal immigrants and/or criminal smugglers illicitly crossing the border between Oct. 1 and Jan. 17.
Of the 3836 illegal aliens detected by the airborne radar system, 1,962 of them simply disappeared into the United States.
The number of “gotaways”, says the LA Times (yes, even the liberal LA TIMES couldn’t spin this number) is both more precise and HIGHER than official estimates – surprise, surprise – and we can only wonder how many illegals are getting away from Border Patrol or remain wholly undetected along our ENTIRE POROUS BORDER!
The Government Accountability Office estimated in January that the Border Patrol apprehended 64% of illegal border crossers in this section in 2011, the most recent data available.
So, is Obamnesty simply enticing MORE illegal aliens to overwhelm the resources of our Border Patrol? Or have MORE illegals always been crossing and we just now have the technology deployed to undeniably detect them and confirm the numbers more in line with what the border security movement has been barking about for YEARS?
Either way, only thing is clear – THE BORDER IS NOT SECURE!
Meanwhile, in an absurd spasm of leftwing political correctness, the Associated Press has banished the term “illegal immigrant” and is demanding that “undocumented immigrant” been used instead.
It is total madness.
While not a member of the ‘Gang of Eight’ toiling away to make Obama’s amnesty ‘dream’ come true, Utah Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz is concerned about our immigration crisis and the relentless drive in Washington for “comprehensive immigration reform” so he visited the U.S.-Mexico border near Yuma, Arizona – and he shared what he found with us and the rest of America.
We wish we could say you are not going to believe it…
And then there is THIS!
Our “secure” borders are WORLD-RENOWNED!
NO DOUBT THE ‘HEAR, SPEAK AND SEE NO EVIL OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION’ CROWD IN WASHINGTON WILL STILL CALL THIS BORDER “SECURE” DESPITE THE PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE, THE FIRSTHAND ACCOUNTS AND THE AIRBORNE RADAR STATISTICS, BECAUSE IT IS CONTRARY TO WHAT THEY BELIEVE AND WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR.
Washington MUST be compelled to recognize our border is simply WIDE OPEN and use every possible means to SECURE IT! Obama may try to clown around and belittle our efforts, saying we want moats and alligators when all we want is a SECURE BORDER – NOT fences that can be climbed in a flash if they exist at all – NOT HANDRAILS! And certainly we do not want MEXICO’S CHILDREN pouring across the border DAILY for a free education at OUR EXPENSE!
And that’s not even touching on NEW concerns raised by Senate Budget Committee Republicans on Thursday that a “major flaw” in the proposed “Gang of Eight” compromise immigration plan is a gaping LOOPHOLE that will result in a multi-trillion dollar entitlement spending increase! Geniuses.
Specifically, there is nothing in the framework to apply federal public charge law to those in the country illegally before they are granted legal status. What this means is that the bill would create an end-run around federal law: individuals in the country illegally could receive legal status without having to demonstrate financial self-sufficiency.”
Ah, but not to worry – the “Gang of Eight” tells us not to… According to the statement, they “have suggested that cost will not be an issue because amnestied illegal immigrants will not be eligible for certain public aid and welfare programs during a temporary period of probationary legal status (although even this is in growing doubt given the outcome of the relevant vote during the recent consideration of the Senate budget).”
“But, crucially, once this status ends and they become eligible for green cards, those who illegally immigrated will have access to a wide array of public assistance programs,” they wrote.
In other words, FEDERAL LAW IS BEING IGNORED AND CIRCUMVENTED BY CONGRESS IN ORDER TO RUSH THROUGH OBAMA AMNESTY!
Amnesty MUST be prevented; this legislation MUST be derailed.
THIS is what the pro-amnesty liberals want for America.
It WILL destroy us… already, enticed by promises of amnesty, MORE illegal immigrants are flocking to our southern border and illicitly crossing than ever before. Big Sis Janet Napolitano AND Barack Obama’s recent claims that the border is more “secure” than ever are patent LIES!
Honestly, if we thought a “picture” book of this surveillance and the recent tweets by Rep. Chaffetz would do any good at all, we would have 535 copies printed and bound and delivered to Capitol Hill – but we all know the Democrats would only denounce it as racist if they even bothered to OPEN it!
A mere 174 of the 504 total were apprehended by Border Patrol, and sequestration – complete with a minimum of 20% loss in field Border Patrol staffing – takes effect on April 7th while the big “bipartisan”amnesty legislation rollout in the Senate is expected is coming any minute!
“We’ve seen the number of illegal aliens double, maybe even triple since amnesty talk started happening,” an agent, who wished to remain anonymous due to fears of retaliation within the agency, told Townhall. “A lot of these people, although not the majority, are criminals or aggravated felons. This is a direct danger to our communities.”
Fox News reported that sections of the border will soon be unpatrolled due to cuts in CBP (Customs and Border Protection) staffing. Townhall has since learned that although Border Patrol agents working the border HAVE BEEN FULLY FUNDED, internal political battles have resulted in that funding being channeled OUT OF THE FIELD and to MANAGEMENT – no doubt to better uphold Barack Obama’s non-enforcement amnesty agenda!
“Customs and Border Protection has been given enough money to fully staff the border but has chosen to use the money elsewhere, we believe it is to fund the salaries of Supervisory CBP Officers.” Vice President of the National Border Patrol Council Shawn Moran told Townhall.
“It is internal politics within CBP and also with immigration reform. There are still battles between legacy Customs, INS, and Border Patrol managers as to the direction CBP takes and how the funds are being used. Meanwhile both parties claim no immigration reform until the border is secured – well this surely will not secure the border.”
Honestly, short of having an illegal immigrant – or a DOZEN – FALL ON THEIR HEADS, we’re not sure what will wake this “GANG” up except for VOTER THREATS OF WITHDRAWN SUPPORT AND YOUR UNCEASING GRASSROOTS ACTIVISM!
