An Arab youth threw a rock at the Emunah College in the Jerusalem neighborhood Talpiot on Thursday evening, as an art exhibition attended by dozens of people was taking place in the building.
The rock hit a 10-year-old girl in the head. The girl, who sustained minor injuries, was treated by a team of Magen David Adom paramedics who then took her to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
People who were at the scene told police officers that the rock had been thrown by an Arab who passed by the building.
Earlier on Thursday, an Israeli car suffered damage when it was hit by rocks as it traveled next to the village of El-Khader, west of Bethlehem.
No injuries were reported. Israeli soldiers were sent to search the scene.
Rock attacks perpetrated by Arab terrorists have killed and maimed many people, including babies. Three-year-old Adelle Biton, who was critically wounded in a rock terror attack in Samaria in March, was allowed to be temporarily discharged from the hospital last week for a weekend with her family.
Several weeks ago, Ronit Avrahamof Shapira, known to many as Ronit the newscaster from the political satire Latma, survived a road ambush by rock-throwing terrorists. She was in the family car that was being driven by her husband and their small children.
