An Irate Senator John McCain attempted to argue that the Kentucky Senator Rand Paul doesn’t have the authority to disagree with US policies regarding ISIS because he hasn’t met up with members of the terror group, unlike McCain himself, who only was in Syria a few hours and actually stayed in Turkey during the trip. McCain now thinks he is the supreme expert on Syria due to his few hours in the country.
Senator McCain is said to have met with General Salem Idris, the leader of the Supreme Military Council of the Free Syrian Army during his visit. McCain and Obama have been passionate advocates for helping the Free Syrian Army, which has been battling both Assad’s forces. In June, President Barack Obama’s administration proposed a $500 million plan to arm and train the ‘moderate’ Syrian opposition.
The problem is reports about these “moderate” Fee Syrian Army members are coming out of eastern Syria and they revealed that several factions within the Syrian opposition force known as the Free Syrian Army (FSA) have pledged services to the Islamic State, the group also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). These are the very same groups Obama and McCain have supported.
In an appearance on Fox News Monday, McCain was asked to respond to Rand Paul’s comments to CBS that arming Syrian rebels would only empower ISIS in the long run.
And that’s when McCain got really angry.
“Has Rand Paul ever been to Syria? Has he ever met with ISIS? Has he ever met with any of these people? No, no, no,” McCain said, clearly in reference to his short visit to Syria in 2013, where he was photographed with leaders of the Free Syrian Army, the fighters violently opposed to the Assad regime.

Don’t attempt to look for any logic in McCain’s blathering, because there isn’t any. This is not the first time McCain has attempted to make this idiotic argument. When intelligence emerged that up to 40 percent of the “moderate” rebels are actually extremists, McCain argued that the claims were not true because he has personally met a few of the rebels for a couple hours once in 2013.
“I know who they are. I was in Syria and I met them.” McCain said. McCain said this despite the fact that a study by defense consultancy IHS Jane’s found that only around 30 percent of rebels are fighting for secular values and that the moderate Syrian rebels have agreed a nonaggression pact with ISIS.
McCain is so arrogant in his ideology a Syrian woman begged McCain to stop supporting terrorist groups murdering Syrian Christians, she still has family back home in Syria, McCain so arrogant said he knows Syria more that anyone, even more that this Syrian woman in the video below. McCain in his demented head actually thinks his two in a half hours in Syria amount to more knowledge of the area that this woman that lived and grew up in Syria, and still has family there.

Who better to explain what’s going on in Syria these days than the victims of the Jihadists? You can put Syrian Christians at the top of the list, but McCain does not want to hear facts from them.
Senator McCain is so out of touch and evidently doesn’t want to hear any negative stories about the rebels he and Obama are working to arm. He stormed out of a closed-door meeting with the Syrian clergy officials. He didn’t think the Syrian church leaders should even be allowed in the room.
It’s bad enough that he has supported a policy that has empowered Jihadists who murder Christians, and now those jihadist supported by both Obama and McCain are now overrunning Iraq in a blood spilling killing spree.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, who warned Obama against U.S. supporting the rebels, in Times op-ed last September. He wrote:
“A strike would increase violence and unleash a new wave of terrorism. It could undermine multilateral efforts to resolve the Iranian nuclear problem and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and further destabilize the Middle East and North Africa. It could throw the entire system of international law and order out of balance.”
That Western attention has shifted so dramatically from the Assad regime to those carried out by the ISIS militants fighting in Iraq it is making Obama and McCain look to be the fools they are!
