The President of the United States is now claiming that in order to win the fight over terrorism we must sit down and actually address their grievances? Maybe if we find terrorists jobs they will stop killing? The media are the problem not ISIS? Climate change is the biggest threat to the United States today?
White House Press calls their own comments “too nuanced” for average Americans to understand? The president has no issue labeling Christians as the problem in the crusades, but cannot label terrorists today as Islamic? When does enough become enough?
Recently former Mayor Rudy Giuliani made some controversial statements,
“I do not believe that the president loves America. He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t bought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”
Does President Obama love this country? Does he respect the rights of Christians as he does Muslims?
Obama:
“We’ve also seen, most recently Europe, a rise of inexcusable acts of anti-Semitism, or in some cases anti-Muslim sentiment or anti-immigrant sentiment.”
Obama on Christians vs. Muslims
Have there been any inexcusable acts of anti-Christian sentiment? In order to see what is streaming on Google, I found some interesting results.
Obama on the persecution of Christians
- “Obama “plays politics” with Christian persecution”
- “Why Obama Ignores Persecuted Christians”
- “Krauthammer: Obama has Defended Muslims, Where is He on Christian Persecution?”
- “Is Obama Doing Enough to Help Persecuted Christians?”
- “Why Doesn’t Obama Speak Out Against Christian Persecution?”
Obama on the persecution of Muslims:
- “Can Obama help Burma’s persecuted Muslims?”
- “Obama Administration Suppresses Talk of Muslim Persecution of Christians.”
- “Obama: ‘Get off your high horse and stop criticizing Islamic Terror.’”
- “Obama’s New Asylum Decree Favors Muslins Over Christians.”
- “Obama Overlooks Christian Persecution”
In his controversial speech at the National Prayer Breakfast, President Obama said in part,
“Just because you have the right to say something doesn’t mean the rest of us shouldn’t question those who would insult others in the name of free speech.”
Let’s read Obama’s statement again….
“Just because you have the right to say something doesn’t mean the rest of us shouldn’t question those who would insult others in the name of free speech.”
While President Obama refuses to attach “Islamic” extremism to the continuing beheadings, burnings and abuse of innocents, he has no trouble connecting the violence from the Crusades to Christians?
“And lest we get on our high horse?….remember during the Crusades and the Inquisition committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ.”
“Slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.”
If we look at the controversial comments by Giuliani, we should ask ourselves, is he really just disrespecting the President for political gain or are his statements valid? Have we ever had a president of the United States so determined to fundamentally change this country? Have we ever had a President who demonizes the majority of Americans because of their differing opinions? Have we ever had a President who has lied to the American people as often and as much as Obama? Have we ever had a President who has been connected to so many scandals and corruption? Are you better off today then you were 6 years ago? Do you feel safer now than you did 6 years ago? Do you really feel, by his own words and actions, that this President truly loves this nation?
