Among the most poignant problem America faces today is that George Washington doesn’t live there anymore. Washington went out when they turned off the lights taking altruism, patriotism, persistence, decency and honesty with him, and his kind has been replaced with career politicians willing to rip off America for everything for which she stands, if only to get into the public trough.
The ideal of George Washington is gone with the wind; an ideal replaced by politicians who lie, steal, fundamentally transform, and ones who gain and keep public office by pandering to the same ‘minorities’ they create.
Like a plague that keeps going the rounds, the worst of the latter day politicians (Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush) keep coming back. They keep coming back because they have the ego, the greed and the money to do so.
The current occupant of the White House will never go away now that he’s put in place a first-of-its-kind database legacy that tracks all Americans from birth to death.
George Washington doesn’t live there anymore because he’s history and history doesn’t live in America anymore either, history being revised, rewritten, and like the Confederate flag, replaced by the driving political scheme of the moment.
The bold and the brash of the current crop of politicians will go to any length to rewrite the script of the glorious past—even dig up a general and his wife from the graves where they were laid to rest in Christian burial.
Why would politicians respect the dead when they don’t even respect the living?
All torture by politicians isn’t of the barbed-wired camp kind. There’s the more subtle and searing torture of the soul like forcing a wait of five days to lower Washington and federal flags to half-staff following the slaughter of four marines and one sailor at Chattanooga. What better way to defile the honour of the fallen than by delaying them the final respects that come from their country’s lowered flags?
Many of us have somehow reached the stage where we complain bitterly about Congress but stop short of spending time coming up with ways to replace its members. Almost any parent raising children on a stringent budget in today’s economy would do a better job serving America than the John McCains, Lindsay Grahams or Debbie Wasserman-Schultzs.
George Washington had big problems with Congress even as he was leading a rag-tag group of men to fight off the better equipped British enemy during Christmas, 1776. A true leader down to the core, he had no time for Congress criticism, he kept his focus on getting his men across the Delaware.
But In a lost, pagan secular world the media care more about Kim Kardashian’s haunches than they do about some among the environs of of the multi-million dollar taxpayer-funded Planned Parenthood are turning huge profits on the sale of aborted baby parts.
Where was the outrage from the Christian world yesterday when Obama boldly stated that he would not be defunding Planned Parenthood, paid $528.4 million in taxpayer funds in one year alone?
Are we now all lemmings headed off in the wrong direction, one that leads to the bottom of the cliff?
In a world informed by the Internet some tend to think that the odd epic rant by one of cable television’s talking heads will save the masses.
How many times during the past year have you received a message like this in your emails: “Watch this YouTube where so and so “carves a new one” for (fill in the blank)?
The epic rants of talking heads and politicians mollify the masses for the moment but do nothing to change the status quo, the status quo in America being Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush, all three already proven failures in doing anything good for America..
Will Donald Trump save America?
Only if he gets past the Republican hierarchy of Reince Priebus, the Fox News-boosted Karl Rove, et al.
No one else ever has since Ronald Reagan.
With Ohio Governor John Kasich, being the latest into the Republican contender race, it’s now 17 in the fevered race to the finish.
It’s almost as if Democrats like Hillary Clinton had a hand in it because when in all the media-charged hoopla, the RNC finally choose one of the 17, the supporters of the other 16 will stay home sulking on Election Day.
No, George Washington doesn’t live in America anymore. But unless We the People can find someone of his kind to return, they are doomed as Amerika.
