Fourteen years have passed since Islamic terrorists carried out their attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. If not for the valiant efforts of the passengers of United 93, the White House or Capitol Hill might have been added to that list. Their courage would save thousands of lives.
2,977 were murdered in the name of Islam on September 11, 2001, the largest attack ever on American soil. (Hawaii was not a State during Pearl Harbor).
What is so troubling is the ongoing insistence that there is no connection between the attacks of September 11, 2001 and Islam.
The biggest offender in insisting there is no connection between Islam, 9/11 and other terrorist attacks that have been committed since is President Obama. For more than five years now, Obama has told us that we are not at war with Islam. But a significant segment of Islam is at war with us. Unfortunately, Obama will never acknowledge this fact. So I could hardly be surprised when Obama disclosed last month that his administration didn’t have a strategy concerning ISIS. If President Obama can’t utter the phrase “the war on terror,” how can we expect him to have a strategy against those who engage in terror?
Very few people seem to be aware of why it was that Muslims chose September 11th. On September 11, 1683 when a large Turkish army was humiliatingly crushed by Europeans at the Battle of Vienna.
In 1683, the Ottoman Turks attacked Vienna. The Turks viewed Vienna as the gateway to hegemony over all of Western Europe. The resulting battle of Vienna was a watershed moment in history.
the Islamic world seems to be sliding deeper and deeper into Islamic extremism and I see no signs of anything occurring to stop the decline or the trend. For example, Lebanon, Syria, Libya and Pakistan will soon be controlled by Islamic extremists.
The future looks bleak. Far from being the clear warning sign and wake-up call the tragedy of 9/11 could have and should have been, instead Europe and USA are importing in Muslims by the boat load, Obama gave the green light to Iran for Nukes. It’s only a matter of time before they hit us again hard.
