Obama will used part of his primetime national address in the aftermath of San Bernardino to call on Congress to enact stricter gun control legislation.
Speaking on “Meet the Press,” Lynch said prior to his speaking:
“What you’re going to hear from him is a discussion about what government is doing to ensure all of our highest priority – the protection of the American people.”
Lynch said that Obama will ask “Congress to review measures and take action.” Her office later confirmed that he will specifically call on Congress to review various gun control measures.
