The headlines are also an omen. A restoration of the Clinton presidency would be a restoration of the national and moral chaos they invariably create.
They can’t help themselves. They are corrupt and corrupters, the Typhoid Mary of politics.
And always, the Clintons blame somebody else. Now it’s FBI Director James Comey’s turn to embody their all-purpose bogeyman, the vast right-wing conspiracy. Somebody, sometimes everybody, is out to get them, unfairly of course.
Clinton created the mess with her incredibly stupid decision to use a private server as secretary of state then go on to delete 30k emails and destroy hard drives and phones after a subpoena. Virtually every major issue dogging her, including her reputation for chronic dishonesty, was started or exacerbated by that decision, including the current one.
First of all Hillary is done, finished, kaput — she’ll never be elected.
For Comey to reopen the FBI criminal investigation onto Hillary, means he’s got such devastating proof that guarantees Hillary’s indictment, that will lead to her arrest, only exception would be a presidential pardon.
Otherwise Comey would have sat out the 11 days left, like he did before. Comey is trying to save his job, now that he sees Trump will become president (and the FBI has accurate polling, unlike propagandist MSM).
Comey could also be trying to save his own skin. WikiLeaks is said have a bomb of information coming out on November 1st that would lead to Hillary’s immediate arrest. He could be trying and get ahead of the emails that will be released next week.
FBI investigating this found something that could not be overlooked. You don’t throw the FBI under the bus then hang yourself. Whatever it is the FBI found must be catastrophic. Anything short of murder, because the Clinton’s have always been above the law.
Matthew Continetti at the Washington Free Beacon wrote an article about how Obama needs to pardon Hillary to save her campaign. Clinton needs an escape from her own poor decisions. And a pardon from Obama would be her lifeline.
“But the FBI inquiry will cease as soon as the pardon is issued. There’d be no reason to proceed—Clinton would be forgiven for whatever she did or might have done. Not to pardon her would risk another “long national nightmare” of I.G. reports, committee hearings, depositions, subpoenas, betrayals, media leaks, tell-all books, grand juries, and indictments. Bad press would dog her campaign. Republicans would benefit.
Drew Ferguson, the GOP nominee for an open U.S. House seat , launched a petition Friday urging President Barack Obama “not to pardon Hillary Clinton no matter who wins the White House.”
So what should the Democrats do now?
If ruling Democrats hold themselves to the high moral standards they impose on the people they govern, they would follow a simple process:
They would demand that Mrs. Clinton step down, immediately, and let her vice presidential nominee, Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, stand in her place, that may be the best option they have at a chance of winning this election.
