58 people were killed in a horrific gas attack in the Idlib Governorate this morning. However, even before investigations could be conducted and for evidence to emerge, Federica Mogherini, the Italian politician High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, condemned the Syrian government stating that the “Assad regime bears responsibility for ‘awful’ Syria ‘chemical’ attack.”
It just makes no sense.
So one can’t help but treat Nikky Haley’s melodramatic performance at the UN with skepticism. The idea that the poisoning was due to a bomb hitting a chemical weapons manufactory seems more plausible.
Trump’s initial non-interventionist rhetoric on assuming the Presidency was encouraging, as was his promotion of other anti-war figures such as Tulsi Gabbard. However, the latest response of the US administration, including Trump himself, is not giving any cause for optimism:
What will we get for bombing Syria besides more debt and a possible long term conflict? Obama needs Congressional approval.

What I am saying is stay out of Syria.

Assad was winning the war on all fronts, why would he gas innocent people? Who benefits from this? Not Assad.
WHEN IN ROME DO as the Romans do, but when in DC do what the Neocons want or your political career is over. Donald Trump is now Hillary Clinton with a better wig.
President Donald Trump, speaking at a news conference on Wednesday, said the chemical attack against Syrian civilians “crossed a lot of lines for me” and changed the way he views Syria and leader Bashar al-Assad.
“We need to fix America rather than nation-building abroad,” said Trump in 2015.
But that all came to an end when Trump told reporters today that his attitude toward Assad and Syria has “changed very much.”
Of course! The more things change the more things stay the same: Neocons rule DC. Trump’s just a pawn in their game.
The neocons have been pressing for full-scale war against Syria ever since Putin upended the Obama-enabled US policy of toppling Assad preventing Neocons from crippling the “Axis of Resistance” of Syria, Iran, and Lebanon’s military arm, Hezbollah.
Accusing Syria of using “chemical weapons” in the Idlib explosion, he insisted that “these heinous acts by the Assad regime cannot be tolerated….when you kill innocent children that goes beyond red lines.”
Never mind that his botched raid in Yemen murdered “innocent children.”
NO proof exists that Assad used chemical weapons in Syria but Neocons don’t need “proof.”
The Syrian army denies any involvement. Moscow says the ‘gas attack’ resulted from the Syrian Air Force destroying a warehouse in Idlib where chemical weapons were being produced and stored by rebels before being shipped to ISIS in Iraq.
Assad himself asserted that there are “no chemical weapons left in Syria,” making it impossible that the attack could have stemmed from the Syrian government.
NIKKI HALEY, the brainless twit representing America at the UN, who barfed: “We are compelled to take our own action if the UN fails.”
And that “action” is being schemed by neocon Congressman Adam Kinzinger telling Trump to “bomb Syria’s airstrips so as to ground its air force.”
Good idea! But since Russian planes use those Syrian “airstrips,” Kinzinger joins Haley as another brainless twit.
Does he think Russia will roll over and play dead? They’ve got bombs too that have been very effective in Syria and a few handy Surface-To-Air missiles.
Republican Sen. Rand Paul said Thursday Congress would need to approve military action in Syria.
There are a few more problems with the propaganda campaign against Assad:
(1) You can’t treat exposure to sarin with your bare hands without falling ill/dead yourself, as the White Helmets were apparently doing in the aftermath of the Idlib attack.
(2) As Syrian war reporter @Partisangirl noticed, some journalists were apparently discussing a chlorine sarin attack before it actually happened.
(3) It is eerily reminescent of the aftermath of the 2013 Gouta attacks, in which the Western media and neocon and neocon-in-all-but-name politicians and punditry parroted the official line that Assad’s troops were responsible even though consequent journalistic work by Sermour Hersh and MIT raised serious doubts over the veracity of that allegation.
(4) The “moderate rebels” have themselves resorted to poison gas on various occasions.
(5) Unlike in 2013, Assad is now winning. Why on Earth now, of all times, would he resort to poison gas – one of the few things he can do to that is capable of provoking a strong Western reaction – just to kill all of 75 civilians?
A war with Assad could mean a war with Russia and China could join in, we thought Trump was going to keep us out of WWIII and we hope he remains true on his promise! The media has attacked Trump so aggressive on alleged Russian connections so no he will go along with the Warmongers out of that pressure and lead the world into nuclear WWIII??

Interesting enough warmonger Sen. John McCain made a secret trip to Syria last week and immediatly after this gas attack happens.
