“A furious Trump, who in the last month has escalated his attacks on special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, said from the White House that it was a ‘disgrace’ that the FBI ‘broke into’ his lawyer’s office. He called Mueller’s investigation ‘an attack on our country,’ prompting new speculation that he might seek the removal of the Justice Department’s special counsel.”
This latest raid, much like the one against Paul Manafort is yet another “fishing expedition” by Mueller to find anything at all that can be twisted into a criminal investigation against Trump.
Trump has been incredibly tolerant of the Mueller investigation even though it’s been obvious for some time that Mueller (1). doesn’t have a real crime he’s investigating, (2). has not found any evidence of “Russian collusion” (whatever that means… I suppose selling 20 percent of America’s uranium to Russia might be seen as collusion or even treason, but because Hillary did that, Mueller won’t look into it) and (3). has gone way out of his original mandate to find alleged past crimes to prosecute Paul Manafort and Roger Stone for unrelated offenses in an effort to pressure associates of Trump so that they’ll say whatever he wants them to say about Trump.
Trump probably thinks to himself that he hasn’t done anything wrong so he shouldn’t care about the Mueller investigation. While this attitude isn’t too surprising for a man who’s innocent, this fails to take into account that Mueller isn’t doing an investigation; Mueller is attempting a Deep State coup against President Donald Trump.
A recent online poll by the Drudge Report showed that over 75 percent of Americans think the Mueller probe should end. If Mueller hasn’t found any evidence by now, his investigation needs to shut down. The only reason Mueller is still operating is to accuse Trump’s associates of crimes in order to try to tarnish the reputation of the Trump administration by association and to try to find anything at all that might be used to charge Trump with a crime.
This latest abuse of the law and raid of Trump’s personal lawyer’s office, is far too egregious for Trump to ignore. Once again, the reason for the raid has nothing to do with Russian collusion and has everything to do with fishing for an excuse to remove Trump from office.
Trump MUST shut down Mueller after this latest outrage, and Mueller needs to be prosecuted himself for violating the Rights of his personal lawyer, not to mention crimes Mueller may have committed in connection with the Clinton Uranium One scandal. Trump also needs to fire Rod Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller and who was involved in signing FISA applications to allow government spying on Trump, and the sleepy Mr. Magoo Jeff Sessions, who recused himself when he should have been watching over the Department of Justice, also needs to go.
Famed attorney Alan Dershowitz described the action as “a shocking and disturbing development” and said it was a “very serious escalation” of Special Prosecutor Mueller’s probe.
