Facebook drew concern this month from far leftist control freaks when it quietly dropped its policy banning what it thinks to be false claims in its advertising, including political advertising.
Facebook said it is for a broad defense of free speech. Leftist critics like AOC expressed fears that politicians or other parties acting could abuse the policy to spread information that could impact elections and that Facebook should act like the Ministry of Truth and decide what it factual and what is not factual, in Orwellian like state.

FEC guidelines discourage broadcasters from censoring ads and encourage voters to decide for themselves. Democratic people should not want gigantic corporations that have Facebook’s insidious and omnipresent reach certifying the truth and falsity of political claims.
If we want democratic citizens to be skeptical of both corporate and political claims, then those claims should continue to travel under the names of “spin” and “boob bait” and we should stop pretending that Mark Zuckerberg can assemble a reliable truth squad.

Leftist liberals like AOC want a The Ministry of Truth as a propaganda machine. The irony is that all it does is lie. How genius is that as a political tactic? Name your bureau of propaganda and outright deceit the Ministry of Truth. No wonder the Ingsoc guys manage to hold onto their power!
So how does the ministry work? Imagine if your entire life was flooded with nonstop political ads, telling you why Candidate A is so amazing or Candidate B is terrible and stupid. Now imagine there is only Candidate A, and everything in your life is designed to tell you why Candidate A is amazing, has always been amazing, will be amazing until the end of time, and has never ever been wrong about anything. Ever. That’s exactly what the Ministry of Truth does to the citizens of Oceania. Scary, right? What’s scarier, actually, is how the Ministry of Truth goes about doing this.
Imagine if someone had the power to simply erase a historical event and anyone associated with it.
In no way should any social media company acta Ministry of Truth and decide what can and cannot be poster, that is not freedom. Liberals are always about silencing people, they are not blocking and beating up speakers and those in lone at college campuses, they are trying to limit free speech online too. Do they yet understand why some are so adamant about the 2nd Amendment now?
