Rep. Ralph Abraham (R-La.) on Tuesday, Oct. 8, called for the expulsion of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) from the House and introduced a House resolution to that effect. He called for the expulsion because she has abused the Office of the Speaker to pursue a witch hunt against President Donald Trump.
“Today I introduced a resolution to expel Nancy Pelosi from the House of Representatives. This witch hunt has to end,” Abraham wrote in a tweet on Tuesday afternoon.

In an attached statement, Abraham said, “Nancy Pelosi’s vicious crusade against our lawfully elected president is nothing more than a politically motivated witch hunt, and it must be stopped.”
“She has disgraced the people’s House and weaponized the speaker’s gavel for her party’s political gain,” the Republican congressman from Louisiana said.
“House Democrats spent nearly three years obsessed with election meddling only to dwarf any such efforts with their own deceitful plan to nullify the 2016 election and prevent President Trump from winning in 2020,” Abraham continued.
Abraham then declared, “I have introduced a resolution calling for her to be expelled from the House and for the Speaker’s Office to be vacated.”
Abraham’s resolution to expel Pelosi came two days after President Trump called for the impeachment of the House speaker and the House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) over their handling of the whistleblower inquiry coup.
In a tweet on Oct. 6, President Trump said Pelosi was aware of Schiff’s lies and his massive frauds perpetrated upon Congress and the American people, but she still defended him and called it “fair.”
Nancy Pelosi knew of all of the many Shifty Adam Schiff lies and massive frauds perpetrated upon Congress and the American people, in the form of a fraudulent speech knowingly delivered as a ruthless con, and the illegal meetings with a highly partisan “Whistleblower” & lawyer…

The call for Pelosi’s expulsion is the latest sign that Republicans are standing with the president to fight House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry.
After Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry on Sept. 24, Abraham declared his opposition, saying in a tweet a day later, “In launching impeachment proceedings against President Trump based on nothing but pure malice, Nancy Pelosi is attempting to overturn a lawful election and defy the will of the American people.”
The resolution is expected to help Abraham gain traction as he is running for Louisiana governor.
President Trump has been calling on Louisiana voters to choose Ralph Abraham or another Republican runner, Eddie Rispone, instead of incumbent Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards in a primary election to be held on Saturday, Oct. 12.
President Trump is scheduled to visit Louisiana on Friday for a rally campaign to support the Republican candidates.
Big Rally in Louisiana on Friday night. Must force a runoff with a Liberal Democrat Governor, John Bel Edwards, who has let your Taxes and Car Insurance get too high, and will never protect your 2nd Amendment. Vote for one of our two great Republicans on Saturday, force a runoff!
