Attorney Pierce Bainbridge released a statement today on the charges against his 17-year-old client Kyle Bainbridge who was charged with murder this week in connection to the Kenosha, Wisconsin shootings on Tuesday night.
Bainbridge says Kyle Rittenhouse was wrongfully charged with murder after acting in self-defense in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Moments before the first shooting, Rittenhouse sought out injured people to render aid at a nearby gas station. When he tried making his way back to the auto shop, he was chased by a “mob” who recognized him as the person guarding the shop they “wanted to destroy.”
He said an attacker lunged at the teen in an assault, the attackers name is Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, of Kenosha. Rosenbaum had an open criminal case on criminal case on battery, disorderly conduct and domestic abuse charges, according to the Wisconsin Circuit Court website. His previous record could not immediately be confirmed.
Rioters in the Wisconsin city were trying to destroy a auto lot in response to an officer who shot a local rapist Jacob Blake. Blake brawled with the cops, resisted arrest, shrugged off two tasers and had a knife in his possession.
Many of the rioters were armed and faced off with other counter protesters, also armed.
Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, is facing charges that he allegedly killed Anthony M. Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum, a journalist was trailing Kyle and witnessed the events.

When Huber reaches the defendant it appears that he is reaching for the defendant’s gun with his left hand as the skateboard makes contact with Rittenhouse.
Rittenhouse then rolls towards his left side and as Huber appears to be trying to grab the gun. the gun is pointed at Huber’s body. The defendant then fires one round … Huber staggers away, taking several steps, then collapses to the ground,” the complaint says.
The most serious charge is Intentional Homicide of Anthony Huber, on which Kyle faces life + 5 years.

Kyle is also charged with misdemeanor Possession of a Dangerous Weapon under age 18 for a Smith & Wesson AR-15 rifle under section (2)(a) of a law that later in section (3)(c), in unfortunately confusing terms, actually permits rifle possession at age 16+.
