Even liberals are admitting that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) was right.
On his show, Real Time with Bill Maher, Bill Maher praised DeSantis’s handling of the COVID pandemic.

He pointed out that Ron DeSantis did a much better job than New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) at protecting vulnerable people in the state.

Florida’s economy is also doing far better:
Bureau of Economic Analysis: Florida’s economy shrank 3.7% in the 3rd quarter of 2020 from the 4th quarter of 2019. During that same time period, California’s economy shrank 4.9% while New York’s shrank 8%.
Census Bureau: Between April 2020 and January 2021, Florida’s per capita business formation was 2x higher than California’s and 75% higher than New York’s.
