“While I am fully vaccinated and boosted, I received a positive test result for COVID-19 early Wednesday morning. I am currently experiencing mild symptoms and will follow the CDC’s guidance as I continue to work on behalf of the people of Wyoming,” Cheney said in a statement.

The Wyoming lawmaker has promoted COVID vaccines.

The RINO congresswoman has also urged the public to mask up by showcasing a picture of her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, wearing a mask and cowboy hat.

Cheney’s COVID-19 diagnosis comes two weeks ahead of the Jan. 6 select committee’s first of eight public hearings.

Four other vaccinated members of Congress reportedly announced positive diagnoses over the weekend, including Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., and Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, as did Reps. David Price, D-N.C., and Susie Lee, D-Nev.
