Starbucks Barista Asked Police Officers to Leave After Customer Felt Uncomfortable; Starbucks Apologizes

Six Arizona police officers were reportedly asked to leave a Starbucks establishment after being told they made one customer uncomfortable. The Tempe Officers Association says this treatment of public safety workers could not be more disheartening.

Tempe Officers Association President Rob Ferraro says that the officers do not blame the Starbucks corporate headquarters. He says it’s important for officers to remember the reason they got into this profession is to help people.
